Two ways to use it. Quote a job yourself from the admin panel, or share a link so customers self-quote before contacting you.
Path A — You quote a job
The Quote Builder lives inside your admin panel. Five steps. About five minutes.
Step 1
Open the Quote Builder
From your admin panel, hit "New Quote". The 5-step wizard opens.
Step 2
Add customer details
Name, email, phone, site address. Or skip — fill in later.
Step 3
Measure the fence line
Two options. Trace the line on a satellite map of the property, or upload a PDF plan and mark up off the drawing. Multiple fence runs supported.
Step 4
Pick your products
Choose a fence type for each section. Different products per section if needed — e.g. timber paling on the boundary, glass pool fence around the pool.
Step 5
Add extras and review
Optional line items (site prep, removal, travel). Review the bill of materials. Override any component quantity if the job needs it. Save the quote — it lands in your Leads list as a quoted job.
Path B — Customer self-quotes
Share a link. Customers measure their own fence and send you a pre-qualified enquiry.
Step 1
Share your link
Post your estimator link on Facebook, drop it in Messenger replies, or embed it on your website. One link, used everywhere.
Step 2
Customer measures the job
They open the link on their phone, search their address, and trace the fence line on satellite imagery. No signup, no app download.
Step 3
Customer picks a product
They choose from your product list, with rough indicative pricing visible.
Step 4
You get a pre-qualified lead
Email notification with the job size, product choice, contact details, and a pre-filled enquiry message. Decide who's worth following up — before you spend a minute on-site.
In one go, you walk out with three things
- Customer quote — total price, broken down by section
- Bill of Materials — every post, rail, panel, fixing, and bag of concrete, with quantities rounded up so you can order straight from it
- Lead record — saved in your dashboard with status tracking, internal notes, and the customer's contact details
How long does setup take?
About 30–45 minutes the first time. You add your business details, list your products with their components and formulas, set your currency and units, then publish your estimator link. After that, every quote takes ~5 minutes.
Common questions
Does my customer need to download an app?
No. It runs in their browser. They just tap your link and it works on any phone.
Can I quote off a PDF plan instead of a map?
Yes. Upload the plan, set the scale with a known reference (e.g. "this line is 20m"), and draw the fence runs. Useful when you have architect drawings but no Street View imagery.
Can a single job have multiple fence types?
Yes. Each section can use a different product. Boundary timber on one side, pool fence on another, return walls in something else — calculated separately.
Can I change my products and pricing later?
Yes, any time. You control products, pricing, components, and BOM formulas from the admin panel.
